Hello lovelies! Happy Friday! *Does a happy dance* We're only 5 days away from Christmas too! My kiddos are getting so excited. I'm starting to pick up that excitement as well. In fact, I have some nail art planned to celebrate! I don't usually do a lot of Holiday nail art since I'm so short on time, but I'm really feeling it this year.

The Giveaway is still running, so if you haven't entered yet, click here to get in your entries! There are a ton of awesome polishes up for grabs, as well as Red Angel stamping plates. There are daily entries for sharing on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook as well, so come back and snag those!

You all know how much I love Indie Polish, but I have so many untried mainstream polishes that have been calling to me that I just have to start sharing them. So today I have a big brand polish for ya. Texture polishes have been huge this year, and I definitely not immune to the trend. I have so many textured polishes sitting in my stash, and I'm really wanting to show them off. L'Oreal recently released their line of textures, called the Gold Dust Collection.  There are a few dupes in this collection, but there are also some really gorgeous, unique colors.

Hidden Gems is one of the most gorgeous textures I own. It's a blackened teal texture polish with sparse silver glitters and a subtle purple duochrome flash. I tried like mad to capture the color shift, but it's really camera shy! This is 3 coats of Hidden Gems, no topcoat.

*swoons* Ahhhhhhhh! I looooove this polish so very, very much! I love blackened colors, and this one is just amazing. Not only does the teal look gorgeous, but in certain lighting this polish shifts to look almost Navy Blue. In most lighting the teal is very evident, and you can see that beautiful purple duochrome flash. I do wish it wasn't so camera shy, but if you look at my index finger, you can see a bit of the purple peeking through. I have a feeling that with some topcoat, that duochrome would rock!

Hidden Gems' formula was simply wonderful. Perfect consistency and no thickening up. Application was so smooth and easy that I think I needed maybe 2 or 3 swipes of my brush to clean up. I was amazed! Dry time was fairly quick, taking maybe 5 minutes to be dry to the touch. Opacity is great, but the number of coats you'll need is very much dependent on how much texture you like. I wanted a good amount, so I used 3 thin coats. 2 thicker coats would probably yield the same effect, but if you like thin coats, I'd definitely add the third.

Yup, super love for this one. I have 2 more polishes from this collection, but it's going to be really hard to beat this one. Blackened teal with duochrome and texture? Jeeze, it's my dream polish, I tell ya! I could wear this forever and be okay (Okay, maybe not....but you know what I'm trying to say here, right?).

You can find the Gold Dust Collection at CVS and Walgreens for around $5-$6 per polish. I think I paid $5.79 at CVS for mine. I'll be sharing my other 2 picks from this collection soon!

What do you think of Hidden Gems? Do you have any of the L'Oreal textures?

I have a review of the new Nail Pattern Boldness Digital Hydration Base Coat and Digital Flash Top Coat, plus some nail art coming up tomorrow!I also have Underground Cosmetics, Dainty Digits Polish and some Holiday Nails on the way!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
